Armed Combat & Tactics
What is A.C.T. ?
ACT - Armed Combat and Tactics offers a comprehensive system of full-contact weapon fighting founded in Israel by Alexander Zhelezniak & Noah Gross. With over two decades of experience and a presence in approximately 20 countries, ACT is dedicated to instructing the practical application of bladed and impact weapons, as well as unarmed techniques against armed adversaries.
Our mission is to enhance combat proficiency through rigorous training in a versatile range of weapons. We provide a controlled environment that closely simulates real-world combat scenarios, allowing for the safe development and testing of weapon skills.
Influenced by disciplines such as boxing, Jogo do pau, fencing, cane fighting, yari (so) jitsu, Escrima, Kenjutsu, Haidong Gumdo, and others, our curriculum incorporates a diverse arsenal including knives, katanas, spears (Yari/Naginata), machetes/bolos, European longswords, medium staffs (Jo and its Portuguese counterpart), and folding tactical batons.
Full-contact sparring is a fundamental aspect of our daily training regimen, promoting practical skill development.
Central to ACT's philosophy is non-sportive, full-contact combat with minimal rules, albeit in a safe environment. This approach drives us towards maximum efficiency in technique application, ensuring our training remains grounded in practical realism —a cornerstone of our martial arts journey.
That is what we strive to bring out - Realism. Combat Integrity.
